The American Membrane Technology Association will be holding a Technology Transfer Workshop in San Juan, Puerto Rico from January 19th to 21st 2010. The main topic to be discussed is membrane treatment in the Caribbean. As we can read on AMTA website, attendees will learn about basic overview of various membrane technologies including introduction to MF/UF/NF/RO, membrane systems in the Bahamas, integrated membrane systems including residuals management post-treatment and blending, “Green” water treatment topics that include energy footprint reductions, the future of membrane technology as well as highlights of local membrane facilities.
